Garage Floors (Epoxy & Coatings)
Transform your garage with durable epoxy coatings that resist stains, clean easily, and look professionally finished.

Upgrade Your Garage Floor
Most garage floors are just plain concrete. They stain easily, dust constantly, and look industrial rather than finished. Epoxy coatings and other professional floor systems transform your garage into a clean, attractive space that's easy to maintain and adds value to your home.
A coated garage floor resists oil stains, tire marks, and chemical spills that permanently damage bare concrete. Cleanup becomes simple. Just wipe up spills or hose down the floor. The coating seals the concrete so it doesn't dust or absorb moisture. Your garage stays cleaner with less effort.
Beyond the practical benefits, coated floors just look better. You can choose from solid colors, decorative flakes, metallic finishes, or custom designs. A professional floor coating makes your garage feel like finished space rather than just a place to park. If you use your garage as a workshop, gym, or hobby area, this upgrade makes a huge difference.
We install garage floor coatings throughout Oviedo and Central Florida. Our systems bond permanently to properly prepared concrete and hold up to years of vehicle traffic, tools, equipment, and daily use. Whether you want basic protection or a showroom finish, we have options that fit your needs and budget.
Types of Garage Floor Coatings
Several coating systems work for garage floors. Each has different characteristics, appearance, durability, and cost. The right choice depends on how you use your garage, what look you want, and your budget. Here are the main options we install.
Coating System Options
- •Epoxy coatings with decorative flakes for a durable, attractive finish
- •Polyurea and polyaspartic topcoats that cure fast and resist yellowing
- •Metallic epoxy systems that create unique, high-end appearances
- •Solid color epoxy for a clean, uniform look at the lowest cost
- •Clear sealers that protect concrete while maintaining natural appearance
- •Multi-layer systems for maximum durability in high-use garages
Epoxy is the most popular choice. It creates a thick, durable coating that bonds strongly to concrete. We apply a base coat, broadcast decorative flakes for texture and color variation, then seal everything with a clear topcoat. The flakes hide imperfections and add grip. Colors range from subtle to bold depending on your preference.
Polyurea and polyaspartic coatings cure much faster than traditional epoxy. You can park on them the next day instead of waiting several days. They also resist UV yellowing better, which matters if sunlight enters your garage. These coatings cost more but offer advantages for certain situations.
Metallic epoxy creates stunning visual effects with pearlescent pigments that shift and shimmer. This premium option works well if you want a showroom look or use your garage to display vehicles. The appearance is unique to each floor since the metallic patterns develop naturally during application.
The Installation Process
Proper installation separates coatings that last for years from ones that peel and fail. The key is surface preparation. The concrete must be clean, sound, and properly profiled for the coating to bond permanently. We never cut corners on prep work because that's what determines long-term success.
We start by inspecting your floor for moisture issues, cracks, or other problems. Moisture is the enemy of floor coatings. If your garage floor has moisture problems, we need to address that before coating. Cracks get filled and repaired. Oil stains get removed completely. The floor must be in good condition before we proceed.
Next comes grinding or acid etching to profile the surface. This creates tiny peaks and valleys that help the coating grab and bond. Diamond grinding is more thorough but creates dust. Acid etching is cleaner but less aggressive. We choose the method based on your floor condition and coating system.
After prep, we apply the coating system in layers. Base coat goes down first and bonds to the concrete. Decorative flakes get broadcast while the base is wet. Then we apply clear topcoats for protection and shine. The entire process takes 2 to 3 days typically, though fast-cure systems can be quicker.
Your Oviedo garage floor team handles the entire installation professionally. We protect walls and items you can't remove. We control dust and fumes. We clean up thoroughly when finished. The result is a showroom-quality floor that you'll be proud to show off. This same attention to detail applies to all our work, whether we're coating garage floors or pouring foundation slabs.
